Glad.ee is a modern, reliable and secure e-diary solution built specifically for the Estonian education system and the requirements of the e-state. The platform has been developed in cooperation with Estonian and Swedish kindergarten and school teachers, ensuring that every feature meets the real needs of kindergarten and school life, not theoretical models.

Why should an kindergarten or school choose us?

Made by teachers, for teachers

Traditional information systems are often monolithic and built from an IT specialist’s point of view. Glad.ee was created with the direct involvement of teachers. The result is a clean, logical and mobile-friendly (Mobile-first UI) user interface that saves teachers time and reduces bureaucracy.

One journey: from kindergarten to gymnasium

Glad.ee is a unique platform that covers the needs of both kindergartens and schools (grades 1–9 and beyond).

For parents: One account and a familiar environment throughout the child’s entire kindergarten and school journey.
For municipalities: Simpler administration, lower training costs and unified data exchange.

Full support for the e-state ecosystem and security

Glad.ee integrates seamlessly into the Estonian e-state ecosystem:

THIS SOAP integration: Automatic synchronisation of students, groups/classes and basic data.
GDPR & Privacy by Design: A permanent (immutable) change audit log, strict data protection and privacy – for example, municipal-level aggregate reports contain no child-level details.

Key platform features

Glad.ee unified platform covers both the kindergarten and school modules – all aspects of teaching, development, communication and administration in one environment:

Grading system and automatic analytics

5-point score and weights: The grading system supports weighted grades and different grading periods (T1, T2, T3, end of year).
Automatic averages: The system automatically calculates student and subject averages when a grade is entered or changed.
Exams and tests: Bulk entry of results (bulk upsert), point-based scoring and percentage-based visual feedback.
